Displaced people in Lanao Del Sur survive double disasters

When the residents of Marawi City, Mindanao evacuated during the siege, many of them thought they have found their safe haven miles away from the gunfire and bombings. Typhoon Vinta, however, left them shaken and homeless once again.

The Humanitarian Response Consortium, a group of local development organizations in the Philippines, responded by providing direct and life-saving assistance to the survivors.
