Empowering local leaders for healthier communities in Palawan

Lack of access to safe water and poor sanitation practices still prevail in areas in Palawan. These result to various health issues in the communities such as diarrhea. SEAOIL Foundation supported local leaders to empower them to take action and lead the change in old practices in their area. In 2018, target areas of SEAOIL Foundation were successfully recognized as Zero Open Defecation communities.
