Pintakasi in Biliran: How unity builds resilient communities

In Biliran, typhoon-affected communities unite and rebuild destroyed water facilities to ensure that their town has access to safe and clean water. This communal unity is also known as “pintakasi.”

The Humanitarian Response Consortium, a group of local development organizations, joined the pintakasi through providing necessary water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) response.
